The Ruger® American Gen-II features the next generation in engineering innovations by Ruger, featuring a fluted barrel with muzzle brake and Cerakote finish, and stock in Grey Splatter finish.

The splatter-finish stock provides an excellent smooth grip. The soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for easy shouldering, and improved geometry progressively collapses for reducing felt recoil. The length-of-pull can be adjusted (13.75” to 12”) by removing the installed spacer, and the installed removable low comb improves sight alignment with the use of optics (not included). Additional spacers, combs, and stock weight kits are sold separately. The medium-contour barrel is threaded and features deep spiral fluting, which reduces barrel weight and improves balance without sacrificing accuracy. A cold-hammer forged installed radial port muzzle brake provides ultra-precise rifling for exceptional longevity and accuracy. Cerakote coating covers the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle, providing a durable finish.

An intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing any unintentional bolt opening while allowing loading with the safety engaged. An oversized bolt handle provides positive bolt manipulation, with a 5/16”-24 thread pattern for easy replacement. The one-piece bolt is CNC-machined from stainless steel for smoother operating, and the three-lug design with 70-degree throw gives ample scope clearance. Offering a crisp release, the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger has a user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds, allowing shooters to make that perfect shot. Patented Power Bedding™ is an integral bedding block system which positively locates the receiver, and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base awaits your favorite optic. Also includes one magazine and sling swivel studs.
