DID YOU KNOW?
Freeze-drying is a unique preservation process where water in frozen food transitions directly from a solid to a gas through sublimation. This method preserves essential qualities such as taste, texture, colour, and nutrients, unlike traditional dehydration. The process is performed using a freeze-dryer that recreates the low atmospheric pressure found at the highest mountain peaks in the world—resulting in food that is incredibly lightweight, shelf-stable, and easy to rehydrate.
