Leupold keeps their successful tradition of delivering state-of-the-art sport optics alive with their persistent attention to detail, precision and quality - they pioneered the process of waterproofing optics via nitrogen purging in 1947. Since then and to this day, Leupold continues to push the envelope while producing some of the world's finest sport optics and accessories.

Leupold's VX-3 riflescopes offer a world-class set of features: an Xtended Twilight lens system with DiamondCoat 2 coatings, blackened lens edges, second generation waterproofing, a dual spring erector system, and cryogenically treated precision adjustments. Additionally, every VX-3 sports a special 24k gold-plated ring and medallion.

The 3.5-10x40 VX-3 Riflescope is an extremely viable option for anyone who would normally consider a 3-9x40 their go-to optic. While this sighting solution adds just a bit more power to the equation - it's important to remember that hunting, like baseball, can become a game of inches. This scope brings a little more to the table so you can - ahem...bring home the bacon.

Sporting a water and fog proof 1.0" main-tube, this VX-3 delivers Leupold's all-weather reliability and a respectable range of precision adjustments. Its unobtrusive 40mm objective keeps a trim profile while delivering impressive twilight performance.

To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and the rings attach your scope to the base. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
